More Information and Pictures

Sarah Patty is the daughter of Alan and June who are serving at our
Village of Hope for 1-2 years. She maintains a nice blog with
pictures and I want to encourage those of you who want more info than
I have been giving lately, to feel free to check in with her reports.
www.ps127.blogspot.com. I think you will find it a great place to
learn more about the people who are part of this work, and some of the
things going on.

Missionary Outreach

I received this report today from the folks in Zambia while I am still
here in MD. I look forward to being back there and seeing all that is
happening.

"Today we went to the Green farm to begin a "Hope Club" outreach. It
went very well. Some 66 kids showed up, June led, and Precious (our
teacher) was the translator. 4 children from the Village of Hope
helped. Kimberly is teaching about Paul as a missionary
in her Hope Club and when the 4 returned she said " so now, let's get
a report from our
own missionaries who were at Green farm today" She told june is was
just wonderful and the
4 were very excited about what they did !! Praise the Lord. Our 1st
missionaries are called!!"

New Children

Benedict, Sena, and I are still in the states. Our daughter,
Kristina's wedding will be September 19. We keep in daily contact
with the folks in Zambia. Kamau, working with the social workers, has
identified 8 girls and 5 boys who badly need homes and will be coming
to our Village! Praise the Lord!! Please join us in praying for new
housemothers, aunties, and especially for these children, many of whom
are coming from very difficult circumstances. I believe that I will
be back in time to help with their transition to our school. What a
blessing to be part of God's rescuing love!!!
