Labor Day

May 1 is Labor Day in Zambia.  It is expected that every business will select some of their employees to receive an award and a gift of either money or goods.  We are a little late but today we had a meeting of the workers and gave awards to 7 people from both the non-profit and businesses. 

Benedict spoke for the administration and all of us in thanking all the workers for the dedication and commitment to working on behalf of the children who are here.  We do have wonderful workers who are doing a good job.
